Camp recount

Hi my name is Cam. This is my exciting and suspenseful camp recount

We arrive at flax rock  I  crept out nervously. my mind was  blank like an earth  all to myself . I was oblivious to everything around me  .Mrs Hardaker yelled out number off 1,2,3,4,5 I was 6 I woke up and said 6!!!.Miss Hardaker said right we are all here lets go . As we walked down the hallway I looked around me .

Climbing wall : 1

Drip drip the sweat was pouring off me like Niagara falls in the wet season. I gritted my teeth. I reached towards the wall it felt like eternity.My hand gripped the first rock of many. I started to climb, 1rock 2rock 3 rock I was counting in my mind all the rocks I grabbed. Before I knew it I was at the top I hit the pole as hard as I could.

Man that was awesome I leaped to the next wall . This is easy I thought .

Before I knew it it was my turn. Aaron (the man from Flaxrock) that was belaying for me said that only two people had made it to the top. I launched myself  towards  the wall. Within a minute I was three quarters up the wall and then it happened. I slipped and  fell right down the wall. I just grabbed a rock and hung on ……

A very big thanks to the parents who helped out and took time out of there day  to transport us .  

and a huge thanks to your teacher Mrs Hardaker

for organisation the holy thing and helping us out with rock climbing and cooking

soccer skills

today the Napier City Rovers came to Parkvale school and taught room 19  some soccer skills . the two people that came to our school are called Harley and  Aaron.

The skill we practised today is dribbling. We learned the spots on the feet that we can to

dribble the ball.

I think the whole class did well but we need to work on on not crashing into each other.

I’m screaming and kicking while my brothers try to calm me down . I'm  chucking cot pieces across the room.I escape the grasp of my brother and fly out of the room.  Later to be caught  by my Dad .I yell up up as my Dad drags me off the roof while I finish the conversation to my friend. Passing the ice cream knocking it on the floor. Mum gets the  syringe getting the grossest medicine in the world .  I send a glass flying through the air it smashes on the fridge drawing my Dads attention .For a moment my  Dad   turns his head .
